Group Exercise
This is a great way to exercise. It allows you to exercise at your own intensity level alongside your friends and the exercise varies from class to class. Below are some of the classes that we offer on a regular basis.
"Get 'er Done" Men's Core Class: This class is designed for men and will include muscle work for the core and flexibility.
Step Circuit: A step workout mixed with muscle conditioning. We will alternate step with different muscle groups for 40 minutes and end with abdominal work.
Group Cycling: This class uses Lemond group cycling bikes and is designed to take you through several different training regimens to increase your cardio endurance.
* Limit of 10 per class, sign-up required to ensure your spot.
* There is a $5 "No-show" fee on all registered participants that do not show for a class.
Muscle Toning: A class that emphasizes muscle development to shape and mold muscle groups giving members a full body workout.
Chair Yoga: This class is designed for people who want a good stretch but do not want to get down on the floor. Gentle lower and upper body stretches - ideal for people with arthritis or other joint problems.
"Below the Belt": This class will focus on toning the lower body muscles.
Circuit Training: This class will mix cardiovascular and muscle training with modifications demonstrated for individuals to tailor it to their desired intensity level.
Yoga: Yoga is a psycho-physical discipline that focuses on posture, breathing, and meditation. The class will help improve physical fitness, mental clarity, greater self-understanding, stress control, and general well-being. This class is for all skill levels.
Pilates: An abdominal, low back, and glutes exercise class that focuses on breathing, flexibility, posture, muscular strength and muscular balance.
Instructors Choice: A complete aerobic workout which may be kickbox, land or step for the cardio section. Muscle toning or strengthening may or may not be invloved.
Advanced Step: A 60 minute step workout structured for the advanced level participant. This class is cardio plus toning.
Happy Hour Basics: A 60 minute workout structured for the beginner level participant = cardio plus toning.
Kickboxing: A 60 minute workout structured for the person looking for a different type of class utilizing punching and kicking combinations along with toning exercises.
