Fitness Orientation 101 (Free)
All members will receive an orientation within 30 days of activating a membership. The orientation will include basic policies and etiquette of the fitness center, available equipment and basic functions and use, and explanations of programs and services that are offered. Please ask for your orientation during your first visit to the fitness center or call the Fitness Center to schedule in advance.
Fitness Orientation 102 (Free)
Members can schedule an appointment with fitness staff to become more familiar with cardio and strength training equipment. The orientation will include in-depth instructions and hands-on practice with different machines to include seat assignments, starting weights, repetitions and sets, and familiarization with documenting workouts.
Nutritional Assessments (Free)
The fitness staff will now assist members in understanding the nutritional component in their fitness programs. Nutritional assessments allow members to learn how many calories they are currently consuming and understand how many they would need to either lose or gain weight. The assessment will also identify areas of their diet that may be lacking particular nutrients. A more in-depth nutritional analysis is included in the personal training packages. For more information stop by the fitness desk or call Jillian Anderson (Fitness Director) at 532-9622.
