2010 Summer Camps
This summer your children can discover a fascinating world of adventure, new experiences and friendships through YMCA camping. All summer camps will emphasize Character Development by modeling & teaching the values of Caring, Honesty, Respect & Responsibility. Choose from Day Camp, Sport Camp, Specialty Camp, or a combination of camps. Break up the routine by learning a new skill. Counselor to camper ratio is approximately 1:12. Space is limited, register early to guarantee the date and camp of your choice.
Registration Information
Registration for all Camps begin April 13 for Members and April 16 for Program Participants.
How do I register? Fill out a registration form and return it to the YMCA with your deposit. You can also call the YMCA at 532-9622 to have the information mailed to you! Completed registration forms are required for each camper upon registration. A non-refundable deposit of $30 per session per child must be paid with your registration to keep your spot in each session of camp your child will be attending. The remaining balance is due one week prior to the start of each session. Payments not received one week prior may forfeit your spot in the program. Registration Deadline is 1 week prior to the start of a camp. We will accept registrations past this deadline on a space available basis only.
Once a week of camp begins, we will not give credits or refunds for that session. All deposits are non-refundable. The YMCA may change, cancel, or combine camps as necessary. If the YMCA cancels a camp, we will give a full credit or refund.
Financial Assistance
Based on available resources, the YMCA provides financial assistance for summer Camps to youth who can benefit and demonstrate financial need. The YMCA also accepts payments through Lyon, Lincoln, Murray Human Services. Financial assistance applications are available at the YMCA. Please complete and return financial assistance applications at least one month prior to the start of camp.

To ensure a positive experience, please let the YMCA know if you or your child has a disability requiring an accommodation. This information enables the YMCA to better meet your needs or those of your child, within available resources and to the extent reasonable.
Signing Your Child In & Out
A person listed on your child’s registration form must sign campers in and out each day. Campers will only be allowed to sign themselves in and out of camp if the following apply: parental permission is given prior to the session of camp, the camper is 9 years or older, and it has been approved by the Youth Development Director. Any campers not picked up 10 minutes after the time their session ends will be charged a late fee of $1 per minute.
Fees for Summer Camps
All fees are per week. A $30 non-refundable deposit for each week is due when registering with the remaining balance due one-week prior to the start of camp.
