Liability Waiver
I understand and agree that the Marshall Area YMCA assumes no responsibility for injuries or illness which I, or my children or children of which I am legal guardian (collectively, “Children”), may sustain as a result of our physical condition or resulting from participation in any trip, class, activity, program, use of facility or use of equipment of the Marshall Area YMCA. I expressly acknowledge on behalf of myself and my heirs as well on behalf of my Children and their heirs that I assume the risk of any and all injuries and illness which may result from my and my Children’s participation in these activities or our use of equipment or machinery of the Marshall Area YMCA. I hereby release and discharge the Marshall Area YMCA, its directors, officers, agents, servants, employees, and any others acting upon their behalf from any and all responsibility or liability for any injury, illness, death, loss or damage which my Children or I may suffer as a result of participation in these activities or our use of equipment or machinery arising out of or caused by the negligent act or omission of any of those mentioned. I agree to adhere to all policies set by the Marshall Area YMCA.
I give my permission to the Marshall Area YMCA to use photographs, film footage, audio or video tape recordings which may include my, or my Children’s, image or voice for purposes of promoting or interpreting YMCA services to the general public.

Membership/Guest Agreement
All members are required to present a current, valid membership card for identification when using the YMCA's facilities and programs. As a member of the YMCA you are agreeing to follow the policies, procedures, and appropriate behaviors for the safety and comfort of all members and guests.
The YMCA welcomes guests who are visiting the area or who would like to try the YMCA before deciding on joining. All guests must complete a participant & guest application and have their picture taken. Minor guests must have a parent or guardian complete a participant application on their behalf. All children age 8 and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible person age 15 or older.

Authority to Bank
I hereby authorize the Marshall Area YMCA to draw funds from the account listed for YMCA Membership and Programs. I understand that I am liable for these dues and any fees association with insufficient funds. Credit Card and Electronic Fund Transfer payments will be drawn the same day as online registration. I also understand that there are no refunds for failure to notify at the proper time.

Privacy
Information you provide to us, via this website or at the Service Center in the YMCA, will be kept in-house and only used for Marshall Area YMCA business. The Marshall Area YMCA does not sell, trade, or provide this information to third parties.
Kids - If you are 17 years of age or younger, please ask your parents for permission before providing any information to us.
Parents - In communicating directly with minors over the Internet, we recognize the unique issues regarding the protection of your kids' privacy and safety. We recommend that you caution your children on the importance of checking with you before revealing any personal information while on the internet.

Data Security
The Marshall Area YMCA is committed to providing the highest level of security to members. Personal information, payment information and other data transmitted through our system are kept strictly confidential.
Credit/Refund Policy
• You must cancel from a class in person at the Service Center.
• A full credit or refund will be made only if you cancel 2 business days prior to the start of the class.
• If you cancel after the deadline, we are not able to issue a credit or refund.
• Credits or refunds will not be given for individual class days missed.

When registering for skill specific programs such as gymnastics and swim lessons – do not register for the next level until you have been notified by the instructor that progression to the next level has been accomplished. Refunds will not be issued for improper registration.

The YMCA reserves the right to change, cancel, or combine classes as necessary.
If a class is cancelled, a full credit or refund will be issued.
